| What is RSS? | Basically this allows for a pretty neat idea. Think of RSS like being able to get new updates from your favorite websites. It is like recieving an email from them only you don't "Check your email" but rather you use a special program which looks for the updates for you.
The updates are called feeds and you can view the feeds with a program, an RSS reader. The benefit is not having to travel to several websites each day. You can go to one place to get your news and information can thus be shared much more efficiently. |
